Immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has paid a condolence visit to the family of former Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, following his passing.
Okowa, in a post on Wednesday, said he personally visited the family to convey his deepest sympathies over the loss of his brother and friend.
He said Uduaghan's death is deeply felt and prayed for comfort for his wife, children and the entire family at this difficult time.
"His loss is deeply felt, and my thoughts are especially with his wife, children and the entire Uduaghan family at this difficult time. I pray that God will comfort them in their grief, strengthen them in the days ahead and grant them the grace to bear this painful loss," Okowa said.
The former governor said though the family mourns his passing, they take comfort in the life he lived and his contributions to Delta State.
"My dear brother, though we mourn your passing, we take comfort in the life you lived and the contributions you made to our beloved Delta State. May God grant you eternal rest and comfort all those you have left behind," he added.
