2027: AAC Delta North Stakeholders meet in Asaba, pledge Support for Eshor

Stakeholders of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Delta North Senatorial District have pledged their collective support for the party’s governorship candidate, Engr. Isaac Eshor, ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Delta State.

The stakeholders made the pledge during a strategic meeting held in Asaba, where party leaders resolved to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, deepen internal unity and expand the party’s political structures across the senatorial district.

The meeting, convened under the leadership of the Director-General of the Engr. Isaac Eshor Campaign Team, Hon. Okwuokei Vincent Ikechukwu, brought together key AAC stakeholders, including local government party chairmen and other party leaders from across Delta North.

The meeting was coordinated by the AAC Delta North Senatorial Coordinator, Comrade Ngozi Onwordi, who led discussions on the need for effective grassroots engagement, strategic mobilisation and sustained interaction with the electorate as preparations for the 2027 election gather momentum.

Participants described the meeting as a significant step towards consolidating the party’s political presence in Delta North, stressing the need to ensure that the vision and programmes of Eshor reach every community in the district.

They emphasised the importance of taking the campaign directly to the people through sustained engagement with community leaders, youths, women, residents and other interest groups.

The stakeholders also agreed on the need to strengthen the party’s structures across the various local government areas and ensure that all stakeholders are actively involved in the mobilisation process.

According to them, the AAC campaign would focus on promoting the party’s programmes, engaging voters at the grassroots and presenting Eshor as a candidate capable of offering a new direction for Delta State.

They expressed confidence that unity, commitment and effective coordination among party leaders and campaign officials would be critical to the party’s electoral fortunes.

The stakeholders further reaffirmed their determination to work collectively towards securing widespread support for Eshor, promising to intensify mobilisation activities across Delta North and take the AAC campaign to the doorsteps of Deltans.

They maintained that the collective efforts of party leaders, campaign officials and grassroots supporters would play a crucial role in advancing the party’s chances in the forthcoming governorship election.

The meeting is expected to strengthen the AAC’s mobilisation drive in Delta North as the party continues to consolidate its political structures ahead of the 2027 governorship contest.
