Mrs. Ngozi Adekeye, wife of a Police Officer has been arrested for damaging the buttocks of a 10-year old maid.
The 28-year old was charged before a Lagos court for allegedly inflicting grievous injury on the buttocks of a 10-year old girl, Miracle Oluebube who lived with her.
According to report, Adekeye was said to have inflicted the injuries using a hot pressing iron which she placed on the buttocks of the victim. This happened at Kayode Police Barrack in Lagos where Adekeye and Miracle both lives.
The suspect was said to have injured the victim for committing an undisclosed offense in the house. She was arrested and charged before Ogba Magistrates court for the alleged offense. She however pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Davis Abegunde granted her bail in the sum of N300, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till July 17, 2017.
