Controversial lawmaker from Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye claims Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has forgotten how faith and chance played out to bring him into power, saying the position is intoxicating him, Our Kogi State Correspondent reports.
The lawmaker who wrote in a social media page 'Kogi Central Forecast' (KCF) pointed out that rather than use the opportunity to transform the lives of Kogites, he is “busy inflicting more pains and hardship to the people”.
He stated, “apparently the position he occupies today is intoxicating him! He has forgotten how faith and chance played out to bring him into that position. Rather than use it for the maximum benefit of the people, he has decided to use it to intimidate, maim, impoverish and destroy the people whom he was meant to protect. The groan of the people, their agonies, their sufferings are going into the high heavens. The Almighty hears and (sic) am sure will not tarry for so long before delivering the people from the power drunk governor Bello”.
