A Fellow of Institute of Freight Professionals (UK) and member of various professional bodies, Mr. Milton Ofobrukweta has authored a book which will be of great value to students of Transport, Logistics, Shipping, Business Students and those taking courses in International trade as well as supply chain.
The 551-page expose entitled, “Freight Forwarding in Global Logistics and Supply Chain” which contains a list of over 700 Seaports and the countries in which they are located, covers the scope of Freight Forwarding, an overview of supply chain, management, logistics, distribution and transport, warehousing as well as materials’ handling and international cargo routing carriers.
Mr. Ofobrukweta who is the Chief Executive Officer/Lead Consultant at The Uniship Publishing and Consulting Limited, further explained that the book presents the complex activities involved in International transportation of goods in a logical and simple manner.
The alumnus of Thurrock College, Grays, Essex, England with over four decades experience in shipping and freight forwarding companies, enjoined all stakeholders involved in import and export, especially in port terminal operations to get a copy of the book to enhance their professionalism.
In similar vein, daughter of Milton Ofobrukweta, Ofobrukweta Kevbe has written a book after thorough research with a view to tackling the problem of psychoactive drug addiction.
The revealing material titled, “Psychoactive Drug Addiction, Causes, Effects and Remedies” was informed by the desire of the author to draw the attention of young people to the consequences of psychoactive drugs, after she came across youths who had no knowledge of the inherent danger of their abuse of psychoactive drugs.
Ofobrukweta Kevbe, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Covenant University and Master’s Degree in Pharmacology from the famous University of Lagos, has successfully coordinated various community outreach programmes on health interventions.
Kevbe , a recipient of the prestigious Young African Leadership Initiative, YALI programme is currently the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Life Link Organization.
