An intriguing battle on who becomes the next House of Representatives member for Warri Federal Constituency in 2019 has commenced as youths apparently loyal to the member representing Warri North Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Diden, A.K.A Ejele have begun clandestine meetings to back Chief Thomas Ereyitomi against Hon. Daniel Mayuku of Delta State House of Assembly, who is purportedly eyeing the House of Representatives seat currently occupied by Hon. Daniel Reyenieju.
Fresh Angle International can report that both Hon. Michael Diden who has the backing of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to challenge former Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for Delta South Senatorial seat come 2019 and the member representing Warri South-West in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, played key roles in the impeachment of the immediate past Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Monday Igbuya.
Rumours of Chief Thomas Ereyitomi joining the House of Representatives race for 2019 had been rife, but a campaign poster which emerged earlier in the year bearing Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, his Deputy, Kingsley Otuaro, Hon. Michael Diden for Senate and Daniel Mayuku for House of Representatives ahead 2019, put paid to Chief Ereyitomi’s ambition before the latest round of clandestine meetings, including the one held at an hotel in Ugbuwangue, Warri Monday October 9.
