The Executive Assistant to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Security, Hon. Reginald Donbraye has given a one-week marching order to the Warri Unit Depot of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association, IPMAN to resolve issues surrounding chairmanship candidacy in their forthcoming election to avoid factionalism, Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.
Hon. Donbraye, a former member of Delta State House of Assembly gave the order at the Governor’s Office Annex in Warri, Tuesday October 24, during a peace meeting he had with aggrieved members of the IPMAN, Warri in the build-up to their forthcoming election expected to produce new executive.
He frowned at a situation where non IPMAN members meddle into the affairs of the association with a view to causing unrest, saying making peace “may be expensive, but it is very easy to achieve”.
The Governor’s Aide appealed to IPMAN members of Isoko extraction to follow the path of peace and come out with a consensus candidate as well as be ready for the poll since the position of chairmanship has allegedly be zoned to them in the next election.
The Managing Director of Tezino Nigeria Limited who is also one of the chairmanship contenders, Comrade Zino Onaemo praised the intervention of Delta State Government in ensuing leadership crisis of IPMAN Warri Unit Depot.

He dispelled speculations that the vice chairman of the incumbent executive should automatically take over as chairman or the outgoing chairman return unopposed.
Comrade Onaemo who is the outgoing Welfare Officer, challenged the incumbent chairman, Comrade Benjamin Omoefe to declare his intention to re-contest if he is sure that he performed well.
While accusing Comrade Omoefe of diverting products meant for IPMAN members to Petroleum Tanker Drivers, PTD, Comrade Onaemo assured members of IPMAN Warri Depot of products if elected the next chairman.
Attempt by newsmen to get the reaction of Comrade Omoefe of alleged diversion of products, yielded no fruit as he ignored and drove off shortly after the peace parley.
