Senor Special Assistant to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Political Matters, Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru has thanked PDP leaders and faithful in Warri South Local Government Area, particularly Chief Joseph Otumara for the massive turnout during the official handing over of the PDP flag by Governor Okowa to Warri South PDP Chairmanship candidate in the January 6, 2018 Local Government election, Comrade Michael Tidi.
Mr. Opuoru who was the Venue Committee Chairman in the event which held Tuesday November 28 at Esisi Road, Warri, commended other Committee Members for their efforts “in making the flag-off exercise a huge success”, noting that the statement of Governor Okowa as regard the impressive turnout and organization was a reflection of the victory ahead for the Comrade Michael Tidi/ Mrs. Ann Iniovosa ticket in the forthcoming Delta LG poll.
The Warri Urhobo Political leader commended Governor Okowa, the State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro, former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Delta State PDP Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso and other PDP leaders for gracing the “Warri South Flag-off cum pre victory celebration for Comrade Tidi and Mrs. Iniovosa”.
He enjoined the party councillorship candidates to work with party leaders in Warri South to ensure landslide victory in the impending Local Government election, stressing that the poll will “further lay credence to the dominance of PDP in Warri South in particular and Delta State at large”.
