The Warri Area Commander of the Nigeria Police, ACP. Muhammed Shaba says the Command has made series of arrest of criminals, kidnappers and armed robbers in Warri area since the commencement of the Ember months in the quest to maintain law and order.
ACP Shaba made the disclosure Wednesday December 13 at his office in Warri, when he played host to members of the Center for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ.
He assured CEPEJ of partnership with any organization whose goal is for development and improvement of security.
The National Coordinator of CEPEJ, Comrade Sheriff Mulade who led the NGO’s delegation on the courtesy visit, commended the Warri Area Command of the Police for “their dogged effort in ensuring peace and security as well as law and order in Warri area”.
While seeking collaboration with the Warri Area Command of the Nigeria Police, Comrade Mulade called on governments and other corporate bodies as well as individuals to assist in equipping the Police in order to attain optimal performance.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that the Chairman, Board of Trustee of CEPEJ, Dr. Godwin Orhadawhe admonished ACP Shaba to caution his men from arresting innocent citizens during and after the yuletide season.
