Oritsejafor gives financial largesse to victims of Warri inferno

Immediate past president of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN and Presiding Bishop of Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor on Saturday February 24, gave out cheque of N500,000.00 to victims of the inferno that occurred at Ajamimogha, Warri, January 20,2018.

The fire reportedly burnt down 10 shops and over 24 residential apartments.

The world renowned cleric who promised to donate another N500, 000.00 next month (March) noted that the church cares about people of Ajamimogha, its host community and as Christians are determined to show love to all always.

He implored well-meaning individuals, groups and corporate bodies to follow suit, with a view to providing succour to those affected by the inferno.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi in a statement, thanked Pastor Oritsejafor for the gesture and averred that the local government council executive was not unmindful of the human capital, infrastructural as well as peace building efforts of Pastor Oritsejafor’s Word of Life Bible Church, towards the development of Warri South Local Government Area.

The Olare-Aja of Ajamimogha Community, Pa. James Omaye Awani and the councilor representing Ajamimogha Ward in Warri South Council Legislative Arm, Hon. Philip Awani expressed appreciation to Pastor Oritsejafor for the succour, describing him as a projector of poverty alleviation in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
