Edu-Support: A pupil on bare foot inspired my donation of shoes, socks –Abiwanye

An employee of Delta State Local Government Service Commission working in Warri South Local Government Council, Mrs. Aghogin Asin Abiwanye says she was moved to donate pairs of shoes and socks to indigent pupils of Ojojo Primary School in the heart of Warri, Delta State, Wednesday March 7 when she saw a pupil of the school on bare foot.

According to her, the gesture was triggered when the unnamed pupil came to the Warri South Council Sub Secretariat to process birth certificate on bare foot and on demanding to know why the pupil was on bare foot, the reply she got was,"my parents have no money to buy shoes and socks and other learning aids".
