CEPEJ commends Tidi over cleanliness, good environment

The Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ has commended Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Michael Tidi for maintaining clean working environment at the council secretariats and for sustaining peace and security in the Local Government Area.

The commendation was made by the CEPEJ National Coordinator, Comrade Sheriff Mulade Wednesday March 21 during a courtesy call on the Chairman of Warri South Local Government.

He congratulated Hon. Tidi on his victory at the poll and presented a journal of Peace & Environment Africa to him, just as he invited him for the unveiling of Africa for Peace Centre slated for Thursday March 22 at Ugolo-Okpe in Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State.

The Chairman Board of Trustee, CEPEJ, Dr. Godwin Orhadawhe poured encomium on the Warri South local Government Boss and informed him of plans by CEPEJ to build an institution for peace studies and conflict resolution at Ugolo-Okpe.

He added that the centre will train council staff and others wanting to learn about conflict resolution as well as building peaceful environment.

The Warri South helmsman, Hon. Michael Tidi appreciated CEPEJ for the visit and commended them for building institute of conflict resolution, assuring them of the patronage of his administration in terms of staff training.

Hon. Tidi appreciated CEPEJ for giving him the opportunity to contribute to their journal, even as he quipped that his office was open to ideas that will move Warri South Local Government Area forward.
