Authorities of Warri South Local Government Area have embarked on remedial work on failed portions of the NPA Expressway, Warri, Delta State.
Special Assistant to the Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Michael Tidi on Environment, Mr. Soji Aritetsoma told newsmen that despite the paucity of fund and the fact that the road is a trunk A route, the council decided to embark on the repairs to save motorists plying the road of undue hardship.
The chairman's Aide assured that more materials will be sourced locally to fix more failed portions of major roads in Warri before the rain sets in fully.
