All Progressives Congress, APC Vice Chairmanship candidate for Warri South Local Government Area in the January 6, 2018 Delta State Local Government Poll and opinion leader in Okere Urhobo, Mr. Ovoke Omagbemi has debunked speculations that he is eyeing the Warri South Constituency 2 seat in Delta State House of Assembly come 2019.
Omagbemi in a statement released Friday May 4 in Warri, asserted that his interest as far as the Warri South Constituency 2 seat is concerned, is solely founded on equity and respect for the principle of rotation.
According to him, it is time for the people of Okere-Urhobo to produce Warri South Constituency 2 representative since the incumbent member, Hon. Dennis Omovie who has been representing the constituency is from Agbarha-Warri.
While calling on people of Okere-Urhobo, irrespective of their party affiliation to forge a common front and produce a single suitable candidate for the legislative position, Mr. Omagbemi enjoined people of Agbarha-Warri to support their kinsmen in Okere-Urhobo to produce the next representative of Warri South Constituency 2 in Delta State House of Assembly in-line with the principle of equity and fairness.
