Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi has called on people of Warri South Local Government and Muslim faithful all over the country to continually make sacrifices for peaceful coexistence as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir Tuesday and Wednesday,August 21 and 22 respectively.
The Warri South Council Boss in a message of goodwill, asserted that there was no better time to re-echo the need for people of Warri South, Deltans and all Nigerians to do everything humanly possible to carry on the message of peace and ethno-religious harmony than a period like this when Islamic Faithful are celebrating Eid-el-Kabir whose core message is sacrifice.
Dr. Tidi used the opportunity to call on religious and community leaders to impress it on their adherents as well as followers to live up to their obligations toward government at all levels, saying it will go a long way in helping government provide the much needed peaceful environment for business to thrive and budding talents to actualize their God-given potentials.
