Social Democratic Party, SDP House of Assembly Candidate for Warri South Constituency 2, Mr. Amorighoye Otah Tuesday January 8, visited The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli to seek his royal blessing in order to succeed in the forthcoming March 2 poll.
Mr. Amoris as he is fondly called, intimated the Monarch of his intention to attract youth development, empower the less privileged in the constituency as well as influence basic infrastructural development in the education sector if elected to represent Warri South Constituency 2.
The SDP House of Assembly hopeful who noted that he was a one-time President of National Association of Itsekiri Students, NAIS, appealed for support in order to emerge victorious.
The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli charged Mr. Amorighoye to sustain the existing peace between Itsekiri and their neighbours as well as shun campaign capable of causing violence.
The Monarch admonished the SDP chieftain to preach peace among the youths and make them see the need for peaceful electioneering process.
The Olu pointed out that he belongs to all and open to all political parties, irrespective of tribe, race or religion.
