Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has assured of completing the Ubeji Road in Warri South Local Government Area by March 2019.
Dr. Okowa gave the assurance Wednesday January 9 in Warri during the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP campaign rally at Warri City Stadium, adding that Trans-Warri Ode-Itsekiri Bridges and Access Roads will be completed if he is re-elected as governor of the state.
He noted that the contractor handling the Trans-Warri Ode-Itsekiri Bridges and Access Roads was owed N 8.8 Billion by Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan led administration of the state, saying he recently ordered release of N 3.5 Billion to the contractor, which prompted the company “to mobilize back to site”.
Chairman of Warri of South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi commended PDP supporters for the mammoth crowd at the rally, just as he urged people of Warri and other Deltans to vote PDP 6/6 in the poll.
