3-hr old baby of 46-yr old mother, orphans receive largesse from Warri South Council

A 3-hour old baby boy, Oghenedo Omoefe given birth to by a 46-year old lady after four months of bed rest at the, Warri Central Hospital Warri were among several other babies in Warri Central Hospital that received cash, diapers, cartons of toilet soaps, rolls of tissue papers and powders from Warri South local government council Monday May 27, 2013.
 
Fresh Angle gathered that baby Oghenedo Omoefe is the first child of his parents.

Presenting the items to them on behalf of Warri South Local Government Council Transition Committee Chairman,  the council Chairperson,  Mrs. Christy Uroye explained that the gesture is to mark this year’s children and youths day.
 
Mrs. Uroye who was flanked by wife of the Warri South Vice Chairman, Mrs. Mercy Ikpuri stated that the local government authorities will continually do all within its means to support inmates as well as management of the Warri Central Hospital.
 
At the Eagle Hand International Foundation/Eagle Hand Orphanage owned by Word of Life Bible Church, Warri , Mrs. Uroye who was accompanied by members of the Warri South local government transition committee presented bags of rice, beans, cartons of noodles, tubers of yam, cheese balls, cartons of sardine, gallons of palm oil, vegetable oil, cartons of fruit juice, bags of omo detergent, cartons of corn flakes as well as toothpaste to support the care of the 21 inmates at the orphanage.
 
Receiving the items on behalf of the Director of Eagle Hand International Foundation, Pastor (Mrs.) Ayo Oritsejafor, the administrator of the foundation, Mrs. Aude Ejuwa commended the gesture and declared that the foundation is ready to partner the council and other well meaning individuals to uplift the lives of children in the orphanage.
 
The distribution of the household items valued at several thousands of naira by authorities of Warri South local government is a clear resolve by the Dr. Augustine Uroye administration to directly touch the needy as part of activities lined up for this year’s children and youths day.
