PDP group gets new exco


 
A political pressure group in the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party in Delta State, PDP Faithful Organization has elected a new executive to pilot its affairs for the next two years.
 
The group whose membership cuts across the three Warri local governments of Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North is in the fore front of propagating policies and programmes of the Uduaghan administration in Delta State, particularly in the three Warri local government areas.
 
Our Correspondent reports that the new 9-man executive has Mr. Jerry Atiene, an aide to the Delta State Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Frank Omare as Chairman, while Mr. Oscar Otone will serve as Vice Chairman.
 
The organization’s new scribe is Mr. Patrick Idundun, while Sunny Omene Mabiaku, Barr. Presly Ogbe Oshoke, Sunny Arueyingho, Black Ovie, Vincent Afejuku and Gift Idundun will serve as Treasurer, PRO, Organizing Secretary, Financial Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Provost respectively.
 
Popular Warri Chief and Itsekiri activist, Chief Ayirimi Emami who is an elder in the group, former Councilor in Warri South-West local government and chairmanship hopeful in the forthcoming local government polls, Hon. Weyinmi Omadeli, former Councilor representing Ajamimogha Ward, Warri South legislative Arm, Hon. Jarvis Toritseju Affor and current member of Warri South local government transition committee, Mr. Kingsley Willobi are among prominent members of the group.
 
The new chairman of PDP Faithful Organization, Mr. Jerry Atiene who took over the mantle of leadership from Mr. Emma Nunu in a statement promised that apart from partnering the state government in its 3 point agenda of peace and security, human capital as well as infrastructural development, his leadership will work towards increased empowerment of people in the three Warri local governments.
