Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi has commended people of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State for their peaceful conduct during the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections, saying it was a show of political maturity and evidence of hospitality irrespective of political differences.
The Warri South Council Boss in a terse statement released in the early hours of Wednesday February 27, enjoined residents of Warri South Local Government Area and other Deltans to sustain the peaceful conduct come Saturday March 9 when the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Polls will take place.
He admonished winners and those who are aggrieved with the outcome of last Saturday's polls to remember that the resolve to serve Nigeria and move it to greater heights are more paramount, hence the need to follow due process at all times.
