The Isada of Agbarha Kingdom, Warri and Warri South Council Supervisor for Education, Chief Linda Eya Ikpuri has called on Deltans to re-elect Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for a second term, Dr. Augustine Uroye for Warri South Constituency 1 and Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru for Warri South Constituency 2 legislative seats, saying uniform votes for PDP Candidates in Delta State on Saturday March 9, will strengthen rapid development.
Chief Ikpuri averred that the foundation already laid by Dr. Okowa as Chief Executive of Delta State, can only be improved upon in his second tenure and people of the two constituencies in Warri South Local Government Area will witness better representation if they elect Dr. Augustine Uroye and Mr. Matthew Opuoru.
The Edjeba-born PDP Chieftain and grassroots mobilizer, felicitated with the Senator Representing Delta South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Chief James Manager for his re-election and Chief Thomas Ereyitomi for his election as the legislator to represent Warri Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives from June this year.
She expressed optimism that the legislative experience of Senator James Manager and the business acumen as well as grassroots leadership of Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, will attract the much needed infrastructural, human capital and socio-economic development of Delta South Senatorial District.
