Leaders, women and youths of Yoruba and Igala Communities in Warri have pledged to vote for All Progressives Congress Warri South Constituency 1 Candidate in the March 9 Governorship/Houses of Assembly polls, Prince Stanley Emiko, saying “he is our son in whom, we are well pleased”.
Head of Yoruba Community in Warri, Pa. Robert Omawole assured Prince Emiko of mobilizing Yorubas resident in Warri to vote for APC in this weekend’s poll, just as he prayed for Prince Emiko in-company of Pa. Oliver Asare, Chief Abraham Falodun, Mr. Fatai Karimu, Warri South Ward 5 APC Chairman, Mr. Balogun Tajudeen, Alhaji Raifu Adepoju and other Yoruba indigenes.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that “the traditional ruler of Igala people in Warri, H.R.H, Dr. Francis Salifu, Omachi Attah” who also doubles as the representative of the Attah of Igala, said they are solidly behind Prince Emiko’s candidacy.
Omachi Attah went down memory lane, x-raying “the blood ties between Itsekiri and Igala”, assuring that they will vote for “their own and APC all the way”.
The Warri South Constituency 1 APC Candidate, Prince Emiko assured the people of steady communication if elected, adding that he won't allow anybody to oppress his constituents.
He appealed to Yoruba and Igala communities’ resident in Warri to come out enmasse and vote for him and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru as Governor come Saturday.
Chief Mobilizer of Stanley Emiko Campaign Organization, Bunmi Ireyefoju, Secretary , Jersy Kpogho, Confidential Associate of Prince Emiko, Uzezi Oyibo, Assistant CSO, Abugewa Amoritseone, Secretary Publicity Committee, Dennis Mene and Shedrach Julius Edema- member, were among grassroots chieftains of APC that accompanied the House of Assembly hopeful.
