A 33KVA transformer installed late 2018 (between November/December) along NPA Expressway, Opposite Prodeco Integrated Estate in Warri, Delta State, suddenly disappeared barely a month after its installation, investigation by Our Senior Correspondent reveals.

The transformer was installed as part of ‘Operation light up Delta’ policy of Delta State Government, geared towards fighting crime and criminality, especially in Warri and its environs.

BEDC officials reportedly powered the transformer, which was procured by Delta State Government to power some of the street lights along NPA Expressway, before the sudden disappearance.

They was no official statement in reaction to the ugly development from the Delta State Ministry of Energy or the Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, as at the time of this report.
