Maverick Senator, Dino Melaye, otherwise known as SDM, has claimed that his decision to oppose “the oppressive leadership of the present administration, made him escape four assassinations between 2018 and 2019”, Fresh Angle International can report.
The lawmaker who represents Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, made the declaration in Lokoja, Kogi State, Wednesday July 31, during a media parley he organized to formally declare his governorship ambition.
While stating that he won't stop criticizing the Yahaya Bello led APC Government in Kogi State, until “the right thing is done for the people”, the dramatic Senator Melaye alleged that his criticism of the present administration “also led to his arraignment in 18 different courts in one year”.
Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that the federal lawmaker averred that Kogi State, “lacks visionary leaders who could transform ideas to meaningful development”, describing himself “as a political general”, even as he debunked insinuations that he is working for a particular governorship aspirant ahead of the November 16 Kogi gubernatorial poll.
