A former member of the old Warri South Caretaker Committee and Educationist, Mrs. Gbubemi Ikolo has been assigned the portfolio of Commissioner, Technical Education, while the immediate past Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and ace broadcaster, Charles Aniagwu, becomes the new Commissioner of Information.
This much was contained in a statement released today, August 1, at Asaba.
The statement credited to Dr. Okowa lists portfolios for the other new commissioners as follows:

2. Barry Gbe - Economic Planning
3. Julius Egbedi - Agriculture
4. Churchill Amagada - Lands & Survey
5. Lawrence Ejiofor - Culture & Tourism
6. Arthur Akpovwowo - Urban Renewal
7. Martin Okonta - Water Resources Development
8. Ifeanyi Egwunyega - Youth Development
9. Mordi Ononye - Health
10. Chris Onogba - Environment
11. Ovie Oghore - Transport
12. Emma Amgbaduba - Oil & Gas
13. Mathew Tsekiri - Science & Technology
14. Henry Sakpra - Special Duties (Government House)
