Itsekiri rights' activist and prominent indigene of Ugborodo Community in Warri South- West Local Government Area, Comrade Alero Tenumah, has faulted absence of women in the new Ugborodo Community Trust Executive, expressing shock with the composition, "considering the contribution of women to all agitations geared toward the development of Ugborodo".

Tenumah, a former President of National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG and member of Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority, Yola, congratulated members of the new Ugborodo Community Trust Executive and stressed the need for gender sensitivity in the management of Ugborodo Community affairs.

According to her, incorporating women into the mainstream leadership of the oil- rich Ugborodo, would not just give female indigenes of the community sense of belonging, but ensure better transparency and fast-track infrastructural development.
