One-time Minister of State for Education, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, says he has never done Federal or State Government job in his life, declaring: “There is no room for children in government business”.
Olorogun Gbagi, who had contested for the Delta State Governorship seat on couple of occasions, made the declaration Tuesday November 12, at his Oginibo country-home in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, when he hosted a large array of news hunters, to what he christened ‘press luncheon’.
While stating that he has invested heavily in Delta State, the former Minister who used the press luncheon to formally declare his intention to run for Delta State Governorship seat in 2023 under PDP platform, noted: “UPU did not support Okowa, I stood my feet and said it must be Okowa and now Okowa is doing his second term, UPU are not politicians. UPU are custodian of Urhobo customs and traditions".
He appealed to people of Delta North and South Senatorial Districts to support his gubernatorial ambition, noting: “It is the turn of Delta Central to produce the next governor of Delta State in 2023 and PDP have zoned the governorship to Delta Central Senatorial District”.
Olorogun Gbagi, advised journalists to report Warri and Delta State positively, in order to project Delta State in positive light.
