A suspected diesel thief was stabbed by his accomplice at about 11:05am on Monday November 4 after their attempt to allegedly steal products from another illegal bunkerer under Ogunu fly-over along NPA Expressway in Warri, Delta State was foiled by an Hausa man, Our Senior Correspondent exclusively reports.
Fresh Angle gathered that the suspected thieves were caught by an Hausa man in their attempt to steal gallons of diesel stored by another illegal bunkerer after which fighting ensued between the two of them, leading to one stabbing the other on three different parts of the body.
It was further gathered that illegal bunkerers under the Ogunu fly-over had concluded plans to suspend the two diesel thieves caught for reasons not known as at press time.
The unidentified diesel thief stabbed reportedly sustained serious injuries on his neck, chest and head.
