A veteran engineer of over four decades in the Oil & Gas Sector, Steel as well as Power industries and visiting lecturer to faculties of engineering, Delta State University, Engr. (Dr.) Benson Evezi Okah- Avae will x-ray ‘the Impact of Engineering for Sustainable National Development’ in the maiden public lecture of Warri branch of Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE slated for this Saturday, November 9, 2013.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman, Planning Committee, Engr. Joseph Eghwrudje and Secretary, Planning Committee, Mr. Ovie Ukochovwera, the lecture which is billed to hold at Kayriott Hotel and Suites along Refinery Road, Ekpan near Warri by 11: 00 am will be chaired by another seasoned professional, Engr. Wilson A. Ogubere.
The statement adds that Chairman, NSE Warri branch, Engr. Gracious Omatseye is enjoining members of the public to attend the lecture which promises to take an in-depth look on the role of engineering towards the nation’s sustainable development.
