We are committed to being partner of choice – CNL boss

The Chairman/Managing Director of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), Mr. Clay Neff has reiterated the unwavering commitment of the company of being a partner of choice.

In his remarks at the opening dinner during the Nigeria Oil and Gas (NOG) Conference/Exhibition at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, the CNL boss, while welcoming invited guests to the dinner said the company was determined to meet the Nigerian Government on Nigerian Content Development.

He said “On behalf of Chevron Nigeria Limited, I welcome you all to the opening dinner for the 2015 Nigerian Oil and Gas (NOG) Conference and Exhibition. I highly appreciate your attendance. CNL is happy to sponsor this dinner which marks the opening ceremony of the exciting events programmed for this week.  This conference gives us the chance to meet, network and share ideas on ways to collectively move the Nigerian oil and gas industry forward. We commend CWC for organizing the event so professionally.”

According to him, “It is quite exciting to see this level of partnership in the oil and gas industry. Partnership is a core Chevron value and I will like to reiterate our unwavering commitment to being a partner  of choice; focused on building productive, collaborative, trusting and beneficial relationships.”

“The theme for this year’s NOG, “The Journey Towards Transformation” is apt and appropriate considering the over 50 per cent fall in the price of oil and other factors affecting the oil and gas business in Nigeria.  I believe, we are all looking forward to participating in the various sessions that will enable us establish best practices and practical sustainable solutions for Nigeria to continue its journey towards transformation and growth,” he stated.

Our correspondent reports that during the Conference/Exhibition, the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Content Monitoring Board, Engr. Ernest Nwapa was taken round the booth of CNL by Mr. Neff who explained the operations and activities of the company to him, Mr. Nwapa said he was impressed with CNL outing at the 2015 NOG.
