Oboro Weeps: All I had was my breadth, children, when late Udoh brought me to church

The member representing Sapele, Okpe and Uvwie Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Evelyn Oboro on Sunday December 18 said she was "totally broken", having only her "breadth and children", when Hon. Omawumi Udoh, who just passed on, brought her to Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, Delta State.               

The Federal lawmaker who wept while giving thanks to God, recounted how the late Honourable Omawumi Udoh brought her to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor's Word of Life Bible Church, where she "met with God", through the immediate past President of CAN.                    

The former Uvwie Local Government Area Chairman, who was flanked by Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon. Leo Ogor of the House of Representatives, Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema and other top government functionaries, said she is not an idle worshiper, but connected to "Papa Ayo and the grace which God has given to him will never make me fall".

Speaking earlier, Pastor Oritsejafor described Hon. Evelyn Oboro as his daughter and enumerated several poverty alleviation programme his church has carried out in the past 10 years.                

 Pastor Oritsejafor averred " I'm not a politician hence I don't know the rule of politics, but the Bible", adding "my responsibility is to continue to pray for those in top positions".                  

Our Correspondent reports that Delta State Governor, Dr. Okowa in a remark sued for peace among Deltans and stated that thanksgiving includes reconciling with everyone, no matter where they come from.
