Our Senior Correspondent reports that the Delta State PDP Deputy Chairman of the Sheriff’s National leadership, Hon. Nelson Ogharandukun, State Women Leader, Mrs. Ejieh Helen Chionye, State Secretary, Hon. Francis Onwudinjo, Legal Adviser, Barr. Benedicta Abolodje, State Auditor, Prince Samuel Robinson, Hon. Vincent Oborikpo and Hon. Ramsey Ikweki made up members of the PDP Election Committee that conducted the exercise adjudged to be free and fair.

Recall that Barr. Kingsley Esiso leadership of PDP in Delta State which is loyal to PDP National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi had hand-picked Princess (Mrs.) Shola Ogbemi Daibo to contest as its candidate on the platform of Accord Party in the forthcoming Bye-Election, with tongues wagging that Mr. Tunde Fregene who is believed to be loyal to Okowa/Esiso leadership was positioned to pick nomination form under the Ali Modu Sheriff executive with a view to creating an easy sail for Princess Shola Daibo.

Speaking to Newsmen shortly after his victory, Hon. Ojere averred, “I had a victory out of gang-up, I won’t compromise my victory, I’m going to fight like a lion”.

When asked if he will step down for any of the opposition candidate, the former member of Delta State House of Assembly stated, “I am not stepping down for anybody. It is not a word to even talk about. I’m using this opportunity to appeal to all PDP members to vote for PDP come April 26, 2017 and I will make sure what is due to my constituency comes to my people”.
