Coronation Anniversary: Ugbajo Itsekiri USA, Shares Packs of Water to Communities

As part of activities commemorating the 5th Coronation Anniversary of The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, Ugbajo Itsekiri USA, recently distributed 3,000 packs of bottled water to communities and individuals.

According to the President of the diaspora group, Dr. Mejebi Mayor, the water was evenly distributed on Friday August 21 and Sunday August 23, to various Itsekiri communities on ground as well as individuals, at palace of the Olu of Warri.

He explained that the distribution was a goodwill gesture and service to the people, during the significant royal celebration.

The Olu of Warri’s 5th Coronation Anniversary provided an opportunity for Itsekiri sons and daughters, traditional institutions, community leaders, dignitaries and well-wishers to celebrate the monarch’s reign and reflect on the progress and unity of the Itsekiri nation.

The donation of 3,000 packs of water by Ugbajo Itsekiri USA was widely regarded as a practical contribution to the success and comfort of participants during the anniversary activities, reinforcing the organization’s message of community service, solidarity and support for the Itsekiri nation.

The water was duly distributed to the various communities present under the supervision of Mrs. Eyitemi Atsepono, Ugbajo Itsekiri USA representative.

Warri Voice correspondent gathered that the people received the water with joy and appreciated Ugbajo Itsekiri USA for the initiative.

Recall that the diaspora group undertakes free medical care for their people back home yearly.
