The Fresh Angle International Newspaper, has paid condolence visit to veteran journalist, Mrs. Christy Ichofu, at her residence in Asaba, following the death of her husband, Pastor Patrick Ichofu.
The visit, which took place Saturday, September 12, was led by Comr. Mrs. Christabel Imasuen, on behalf of the flagship Niger Delta Digital Newspaper.
The Co Publisher/ Managing Editor of Fresh Angle International Newspaper, Asare Michael Segun, expressed solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult period.
According to him: Today’s condolence visit is a demonstration of compassion, and solidarity that should exist within the Christian community. As a family, we believe that standing by one another in times of bereavement is not only a responsibility but also an expression of our faith and genuine love for one another"
Pastor Patrick Ichofu reportedly passed Friday, September 4, 2026, after a brief illness.
Responding to the visit, Mrs. Christy Ichofu expressed gratitude and happiness over the show of love and support from the Fresh Angle International family.
She prayed that God would remember and stand by the members of the editorial team of the newspaper in their own times of need, just as they had remembered and stood by her during her moment of grief.
