Manchester United will play either Chelsea or Southampton in this year's FA Cup final after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2:1 in today's FA cup semifinal played at Wembley Stadium, the temporary home of Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur started the better team and deservingly went ahead in the early minutes through Dele Ali, before Man of The Match, Alexis Sanchez levelled up in a spectacular header following a pin point cross from Paul Pogba.
The Red Devils emerged stronger in the second half and got the winner through a close range volley by Ander Herrera. The Jose Mourinho tutored side put up a solid performance in the overall to curtail the usually pacy game of Spurs.
Chelsea and Southampton will play the second semifinal game at Wembley Stadium, tomorrow Sunday April 22.
Portuguese born tactician, Jose Mourinho may not be a favourite of many due to his pragmatic style of play, but his trophy haul will remain the envy of many for some time to come.
In his first season as United Manager, he won the league cup and EUROPA league.
