Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council, Hon. Michael Tidi on Friday May 18, commissioned the newest hospitality home in Warri, Delta State, Park Royal Hotel, to round off the maiden Warri Economic Summit.

Hon. Tidi who was flanked by his Vice, Mrs. Divine Iniovosa, Leader of Warri South Council Legislative Arm, Hon. Kingsley Edafiedjebra, Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Oribioye Uwale, noted that government has created the enabling environment for business to thrive in Delta State and Warri South Local Government Area in particular.

The Warri South Council Boss who asserted that owner of the hotel, Mrs. Helen Tennyson has shown the resilent Warri spirit by investing in the hospitality industry, thanked her for providing refreshment during the two-day Warri Economic Summit and insisted that Warri is safe for business.

Mrs. Tennyson described the hotel as the first Christian inclined in the Oil City of Warri and Delta State, adding that the 45 rooms’ hotel was built to give guests royal touch to hospitality.

The hospitality investor noted that the new hotel has a 25-staff capacity and is situated in an estate by the NPA Quarters along Airport Road, Warri, as a deliberate strategy to ensure 24-hour security.

Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Mrs. Divine Iniovosa in a remark, expressed delight at the commissioning and enjoined others to emulate the investment drive of Mrs. Tennyson.
