DESOPADEC begins projects’ commissioning with classroom blocks, road in Ndokwa

The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, has begun the commissioning of projects executed by its current board, with the commissioning of six classroom blocks at Otolom Primary School, Ezionum, Ukwuani Local Government Area, renovated/equipped Science laboratory block at Aboh Grammar School, Aboh and Dugbele street with drainage and spur to Owessei lane, Kwale, all in Ndokwa Nation.

Performing the commissioning and handover of the classroom blocks to the head teacher of Otolom primary school, Mrs. Okoh Nwakego and Principal of Aboh Grammar school, Chief Nwasor Vincent on Friday May 25, the Managing Director of DESOPADEC, Olorogun Williams Makinde charged the beneficiaries to make good use of the classroom blocks and shun vandalism of the projects.

While assuring that all projects commenced by the present DESOPADEC management will be commissioned before the expiration of their tenure, Olorogun Makinde commended the state Governor, Dr.  Ifeanyi Okowa for “making good things happen to the Oil Producing communities”.

He thanked the DESOPADEC Board Chairman, Hon. Godwin Ebosa, executive directors and host communities for their support.

According to Our Senior Correspondent, others who spoke during the projects’ commissioning  included the commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation in the Board of DESOPADEC, Hon. Nnambi Ezechi, Hon. Askia Ogieh, Executive Director, Social Service Development,  Hon. Ochor Ochor, Executive Director, Project, Pst. Philip Gbasin, Rt. Hon. Nicholas Ossai and  Aboh and Youth President, Odogwu Chukwuma.
