An All Progressives Congress, APC Delta South Senatorial aspirant in the forthcoming 2019 general elections, Amb. Young Piero Omatseye says he has the capacity to attract the needed development and industrialization to Delta South Senatorial District, if given the mandate by people of the constituency.

Amb. Young Omatseye opined that the Senate should not be seen as retirement place for past governors and other ex-political office holders in Nigeria, noting that he is setting the pace in West Africa as the youngest Senatorial aspirant.

The Delta South Senatorial hopeful who made the assertion while consulting with Delta APC Ijaw leaders across the 40 Wards controlled by Ijaws in Burutu, Bomadi and Patani Local Government Areas of Delta State, canvassed  for their support in the forthcoming APC senatorial primary.

He assured people of Delta South of using 60 percent of his salaries in the Senate for youth empowerment, welfare of the elderly and the balance 40 percent for skill acquisition.

The APC Delta South Senatorial contender enjoined youths to give him their support as the youngest senatorial aspirant.

Speaking shortly after the consultative visit, leader of Delta Ijaw APC, Pastor Power Ziakede Aginighan who was flanked by thousands of APC leaders from Delta South, said democracy is all about talking to people.

He urged stakeholders to support Amb. Omatseye to succeed in his political aspiration just as a chieftain of the party, Chief Gilbert Sinclair prayed for the young aspirant.
