The business community in Nigeria under the aegis of Nigerian Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA will congregate in Warri, Delta State for its quarterly council meeting sometime in November 2018 after 18 years, Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.

This much was revealed Friday September 21 by the new President of Warri Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, WACCIMA, Mrs. Patricia Idiakhoa when she led other members of her executive on a courtesy call on the chairman of Warri South Local Government, Dr. Michael Tidi.

Mrs. Idiakhoa who's the first female President of WACCIMA, observed, "the business community is now seeing light in Warri and environ as a result of the Warri Economic Summit held few months ago in Warri".

While noting that the responsibility from WACCIMA to host the forthcoming NACCIMA quarterly council meeting demands enormous financial challenge, the WACCIMA President disclosed that the formal opening of the conference will be performed by Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Dr. Michael Tidi while expressing willingness of his administration to partner WACCIMA, noted, "the pleasant news today is that dredging of Warri Port has started".

Dr. Tidi emphasized that the anti 'deve' law recently assented to by the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa will boost investors' confidence in Warri and other parts of Delta State.

Warri South Council Supervisor for Education, Linda Eya Ikpuri as well as her counterparts on youth development, environment, Agriculture and Health, Shegue Gbeneso, Patricia Edun, Henry Mayuku and Elvis Okpako Eboh, respectively, were on ground during the courtesy call.
