A PDP Chairmanship aspirant in Kogi State, Comrade Alfa Fidelis has declared the alleged militarization approach of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, will be resisted by Kogites in the forthcoming November 2, 2019 Kogi State Gubernatorial election and subsequently vote out the incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello of APC.
Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area born Comrade Alfa Fidelis boasted that PDP will bounce back in November as far as Kogi State is concerned, even as he acknowledged that dethroning the Bello led administration is not going to be a tea party.
“It is an obvious fact that the last election was militarized. I also want to say that the PDP did not have someone who could stand and fight for them. If I become the party’s chairman, I will fill in that gap and fight for the party, stand for the party and I will not allow anybody to bring in thugs to chase our people away, kill and maim them”, he vowed.
