PMAN Chair cautions musicians against illegal acts

The Chairman of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, Oyo State branch, Mr. Afolabi Kayode Segun, has cautioned musicians in the state against acts capable of tarnishing image of the association.

Afolabi gave the warning during an exclusive chat with Our Oyo State Correspondent.

According to Afolabi, it has become common practice among musicians in Oyo State to partake in illegal acts such as piracy and scandals, warning that his leadership will no longer tolerate illegalities amongst members of PMAN in the state.

He stressed that any member of PMAN caught, will be dealt with in line with the association’s constitution.

Afolabi called on President Muhammadu Buhari to give preference to the entertainment industry, as, “it was in the days of former President Goodluck Jonathan, who invested in the industry and today we can see that the investment is yielding fruits”.
