Topic: Relationship and You

Last week we talked about reviewing your relationship afteryour break-up.This week  we talking aboutredefining yourself after your breakup. These tips will help you on how to goabout it

How to Re-define Yourself..

Alter your appearance. Get a few items of new clothing, alter your hairstyle or do your nails. Make yourself stand out and seem freshfrom what your ex remembers of you. Make sure this change is subtle and notover the top.

Spend time with other people. You don't need to sleep withthem, but spending time with other men or women will let your ex know that youare on the prowl. If they are still interested, they will step in and interjectthis

Be the person they fell in love with. Your ex was attractedto you because they felt good with you and you were fulfilling their emotionalneeds. How have you changed (if at all)? Correct bad habits and mistakes, ifany. Be positive around them. Laugh and smile. Always stay positive to feelgood about yourself and make yourself attractive to others.

Be available. Having people want to date you is enough tomake your ex jealous. You don't need to actually date other people. This willonly confuse your ex, because it'll make them think you're over them, or thatyou're deliberately trying to make them jealous. Taking a break fromrelationships will not only show that you still have feelings for your ex, butit will also demonstrate maturity and lack of neediness.

Casually hang out with them again. Do somethingnon-committal like have a drink with friends or play a sport. Make it somethingfriends and first dates alike can do. And whatever it is, keep it fun and skipout on the serious talks for now.

Fill the gap. If you struggle with neediness, you'reprobably a little lacking in the self-esteem department. You might be lookingfor your ex to make you feel better about yourself, but the fact is that youare the only person who can really do that. You shouldn't base your happinesson someone else. It makes them feel guilty, obligated and eventually, resentfultowards you.
