It was a show of shame when the Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture, Abdul Oroh was sent out of the Edo State House of Assembly for breaching the security code by not availing himself of the routine screening exercise for commissioners briefing the House about activities of their ministries.
Fresh Angle learnt that the commissioner, a former member of the House of Representatives who was very confident of briefing the Edo State House of Assembly on the implementation of the 2013 budget of his ministry before taking a bow was shocked when members of the State House of Assembly disgraced him.
Our Benin City Correspondent reports that drama started when an unknown person whispered to the majority leader of the House about a breach of the House rules, the Speaker, Hon. Uyi Igbe immediately sent the former Federal legislator and current commissioner out of the lower chamber of the House.
After sending the commissioner out of the House to submit himself for security checks, Honourable Oroh compounded the situation when he told the House that a police officer attached to the House tapped him and asked if he is the commissioner after which he was cleared to have his way to the chamber.
