A 58-year old mother of seven children from Ujevwhu Community in Ughelli South local government area of Delta State, Mrs. Helen Shaka has raised alarm that her 33-year old son, Rume Shaka in connivance with one Efe, a former youth chairman of the same community have sold her plot of land to a different buyer after she personally sold the same land earlier to another buyer.
Mrs. Helen Shaka who expressed her frustration to Our Senior Correspondent on Saturday February 22 shortly after the Forum for Justice and Human Rights Defence, FJHD, human rights clinic held in Udu local government area, said her son, Rume Shaka and Efe allegedly sold the plot of land measuring 50 by 50 to another buyer at the rate of four hundred thousand naira.
According to Mrs. Shaka, this is the second plot of land, Rume who is her fourth child has sold in recent times. She explained that she came to know of the development when she called on Efe, the former youth chairman to talk to her son, Rume unknowing to her that Efe connived with Rume to prepare a Deed for the said land and sold it to another buyer.
