ComradeMacauley tasked publishers of community newspapers and magazines to help instrengthening the unity of the state in particular and the country at large bypublishing stories that are factual, instead of those that tend to createdivision.

The DeltaState SSG, who gave the advice when he received members of Delta State Chapterof Association of Community Newspaper and Magazine Publishers of Nigeria, ACNPNat his office in Asaba, noted that the state government will continue to “work”with members of the association.

On theappeal for a member of the state chapter of ACNPN to be appointed as SpecialAssistant to the governor on Community Newspaper, Comrade Macauley who is aseasoned journalist stated, “the appointment of Special Assistant on Communitynewspaper has left a sour taste in the history of the state government”.

He advisedmembers of ACNPN to work hard to clean the bad memory left in the mind of thestate governor by one of its members who was appointed as aide on communitynewspaper.
