PDP Ward Scribe, Udonju thumbs up for Ereyitomi for sponsoring three motions
Comrade Udonju Laju Victor

Vice Chairman of Ugborodo Community National Youth Body and Secretary of Madangho Ward 7 in Warri South - West Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Udonju Laju Victor, has commended the Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, for sponsoring what he described as three critical motions capable of positively impacting greatly on Warri Federal Constituents.

Udonju, a former President of Ugborodo Graduates' Association, UGA, identified the motion for restart of construction work at the Gas Revolution Industrial Park , GRIP project Ogidigben in Warri South - West Local Government Area, the Deep Sea Port also in the same area as well as motion for the reinstatement of sacked workers of Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, WRPC and the need to employ qualified graduates of Warri Federal Constituency in the NNPC Graduates' trainees programme, as some critical motions Chief Ereyitomi has so far sponsored.

The PDP Ward Scribe, who opined that Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, came into politics when politicking was, " rudely disturbed by major forms of acute adversity such as conflicting diverse ethnic interests, corruption, mismanagement of resources and fraud", asserted that Chief Ereyitomi defied the odds and has , " placed high premium on policies geared towards survival of his constituents and revitalizing vital socio - economic projects, capable of creating thousands of jobs".

He appealed to the federal lawmaker to prevail on multi national oil and gas companies operating in Ugborodo, particularly Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, " which has no Ugborodo indigene as direct staff", to offer employment to qualified graduates from Ugborodo, saying it would go a long way in developing the oil - rich coastal community.
