2015: Uduaghan, ethnic leaders, others insist on Olejeme-Syndicated Report

Notable personalities in Delta State, including leaders of ethnic and youth groups, political parties, former local government chairmen and past political appointees have described Dr. Ngozi Olejeme  as ‘the only serious aspirant from Delta North” most fit to vie for Delta governorship come 2015.

At a meeting in Ughelli, headquarters of Ughelli North local government Sunday May 25, the leaders urged Urhobo and indeed Deltans to embrace politics anchored on qualities like credibility, competence and ability to perform as well as deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

“Dr. Ngozi Olejeme stands out of the pack of pretenders, traders and contenders. She is a large hearted philanthropist, a reputable humanist and a God fearing individual”, the leaders reportedly opined.

They also condemned the plot to stop a governor of Anioma extraction in 2015. “Delta North is the only zone that has never been privileged to produce the governor. We must support the zone in the spirit of equity, justice and fairness to produce the governor in 2015”, the leaders said.

They averred, “Delta State needs a well-focused manager who has the interest of the state at heart; someone who is administratively skillful; someone who will deliver. Dr. Ngozi Olejeme possesses the ability, courage, sincerity and guiding philosophy to provide the right leadership for the betterment of the people. She is a stickler for hard work and excellence”.

In a statement allegedly issued in Ughelli by the Director General, You and I Foundation, Mr. Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan and the President, Urhobo National Youth Congress, UNYC, Comrade Nicholas Evwienure, the leaders declared, “We are solidly behind Dr. Olejeme. We shall mobilize our people and give her an overwhelming electoral support. Dr. Olejeme has the requisite appeal and political structure to clinch the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP” the leaders added.
