I ‘II focus on Uduaghan’s 3 point agenda, Ejifoma promises
Dr. Robert Ejifoma

Former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Uvwie local government and chairmanship hopeful in the council in the forthcoming October 25 local government poll, Dr. Robert Ejifoma has promised that if given the mandate, he will centre his manifesto on the state government three point agenda of peace and security, human capital as well as infrastructural development.

The former Uvwie Council boss, traditional Chief and medical doctor made the promise shortly after the Peoples Democratic Party sensitization rally held at JFK field in Effurun, Delta State.

While promising that “good things will happen in Uvwie” if elected as the next chairman of the local government, Dr. Ejifoma who was flanked by his supporters described his six month stint as Caretaker Committee Chairman of Uvwie as the most peaceful Uvwie has ever had with “a lot of achievements”.

He appealed to other PDP members and supporters to always abide by the rules and regulations guiding the party, just as he quipped that whoever emerges the PDP chairmanship candidate will get his support.

In a brief remark at the rally, Delta State Deputy Governor, Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama described opposition parties in the state as “empty place” even as he received “more than 200 APC, DPP and other party decampees” to the PDP.
