As part of sustained efforts to strengthen peace between indigenous farmers and Hausa/ Fulani herders, a cross - cultural event was held yesterday, Friday March 12 at Ndokwa West Secretariat Field in Kwale, Delta State.
Fresh Angle International can report that the socio - cultural showpiece featured Hausa / Fulani cultural dance and different Ukwuani dance groups.
According to Our Kwale Correspondent, the event was organized by Miss Deborah Yohana of Search for Common Ground and her team, through Community Security Architecture Dialogue, CSAD, Ndokwa West.
Chairman of CSAD, Comrade Ojugbeli Fidelis, in his remarks at the event, stressed that the cross - cultural dance, was staged to promote peace, love and unity between indigenous farmers and herders grazing cattle in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
Ojugbeli stated: "Dancing and playing together, show that we the farmers and herders, can always live in peace and harmony".
The epic event was attended by chairmen and secretaries of Community Development Committees, CDC, vigilantes, officials of security agencies such as Police, DSS, NSCDC, Immigration as well as community development and information officers, cattle owners / rearers and delegates from various communities in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
