OML 150: Agbeyi led executive reportedly gets endorsement of Regent of Warri Kingdom
Reminder to CONOIL Producing Limited

The Comrade Monday Agbeyi led executive of OML 150 Consultative Forum, on Tuesday May 25, allegedly received the endorsement of the Regent of Warri Kingdom, Prince Emmanuel Okotie-Eboh, to pilot the affairs of CONOIL Host Communities in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, for the next four years.

In a statement made available to Fresh Angle International last night, Comrade Agbeyi, explained that the Iyatsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Johnson Atserunleghe, who reportedly spoke at the meeting before the Regent of Warri Kingdom, Prince Emmanuel Okotie-Eboh, allegedly reminded those present that he made a pronouncement as part of keeping with Itsekiri tradition during Ale J’efun, that any group or executive at the helm of affairs before the pronouncement of Ale J’efun, “should maintain status quo, pending the emergence of a new Ogiame, who would adjudicate on any petition or issue of dispute”.

Your Fast-Rising International Tabloid understands that, “the aggrieved immediate past” Chairman of the CONOIL Host Communities’ Forum, otherwise referred to as OML 150 Consultative Forum, Mr. Charles Omadeli, whose tenure purportedly elapsed December 21, 2020, had alleged that the transited Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli, gave him, “verbal affirmation to continue another term of four years”, which is believed to be a breach of the constitution that Mr. Omadeli and co drafted to guide the Forum.

According to the statement obtained from Comrade Monday Agbeyi, those present at the meeting, allegedly disputed Mr. Omadeli’s testimony, saying the transited Monarch only asked him (Omadeli) to return at another date, “so that they can discuss modalities for a new election”.

It was learnt that prior to yesterday’s meeting, The Iyatsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Johnson Atserunleghe, had purportedly given endorsement to the Monday Agbeyi-led Forum, “haven seen that the Directorate of Palace Administration, followed due process in giving letter of recommendation to the newly-constituted executive to CONOIL Nigeria Plc and relevant security agencies”.

Mr. Omadeli, had dragged the Agbeyi led executive of the Forum to court, purportedly seeking extension of his tenure, citing Royal blessing as the major reason for his prayers, even as it was gathered that the Agbeyi leadership was present at Ode-Itsekiri as the newly elected executive of the Forum, when the Ale J’efun pronouncement was made.
